The Central Coast Amateur Radio Club Inc. Is the focal point for Amateur Radio activities on the Central Coast of NSW. It has a membership of over 60 people of all ages and amateur radio interests.
The CCARC was formed in 1957. The club has its own clubrooms at Kariong with a well-equipped radio room (shack), workshop and meeting room. We also operate Voice, D-Star, APRS, APCO25, Amateur Television and Packet (data) repeaters from our repeater site at Somersby and the clubrooms at Kariong.

The CCARC organises the largest meeting of Radio Amateurs in Australia every February at Wyong Race Course for the CCARC Field Day at Wyong. You can find more information about this event in Wyong Field Day page, or have a look at previous events in the photo gallery.
The club supports WICEN, and the annual Scout and Guides Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) held in October and is affiliated with the Wireless Institute of Australia and Amateur Radio NSW.
The club sponsors a plaque for the top VK QRP station in the annual Oceania DX phone contest.
